Elon Musk suggests charging everyone who wants to use X, formerly known as Twitter, a "small monthly" cost.

According to Elon Musk, converting to a "small monthly payment system" is what X, formerly known as Twitter, is doing because "it's the only way I can think of to combat vast armies of bots."

During a chat with Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday, Musk suggested that it might have a lower-tier price structure than its $8-per-month Twitter Blue, its premium membership plan.

According to Musk, "We're wanting it to be just a small amount of money." I believe that this is the only defense against vast armies of bots because when AI grows very, very good, it can actually pass these CAPTCHA tests better than humans.

Although Musk has often criticized Twitter's efforts to combat bots, it appears that he has also considered making the social media platform pay to access since shortly after he acquired the business last year.

Furthermore, he made these remarks while the company battles a drop in ad revenue. Musk stated in July that the business's ad revenue had dropped by more than 50% and that it was significantly indebted.

In the meanwhile, Netanyahu urged Musk to take steps to lessen antisemitism on his platform. It doesn't stop you from denouncing antisemitism, as you have done in every forum conceivable, he continued.

When the Anti-Defamation League made "unfounded accusations" that antisemitism was being condoned on the site because Musk had restored accounts, Musk threatened legal action against the group last month. People shouldn't be made to feel bad since users will leave the X platform if it isn't entertaining, humorous, and engaging. People won't want to use our system if they find it uncomfortable.

Netanyahu asked Musk if it was possible to stop the use of bots, so that at least if you get a crazy and terrible person, let him speak for one voice rather than an army of bogus millions.
