Before the end of the first quarter of the year, the exercise is anticipated to take place.
Rear Admiral Sabur Lawal, the outgoing chairman of the board, revealed this on Monday during the ceremony where his replacement was installed.
He claimed that if not for difficulties encountered by the business hired to oversee the project, the exercise should have been carried out this year.

We made an effort to hold it this year, but the IT company we hired to do the work ran into a number of problems. Unfortunately, they believed they could handle all of these problems on their own, so they failed to notify me of these problems in a timely manner. "I managed to overcome what little I could of these difficulties by this point. The CDS has given us instructions that the electronic verification exercise must be completed no later than the first quarter of 2024, therefore the next step is to establish a schedule for its execution.
Speaking, Air Vice Marshal Paul Irhumeson, the new chairman of the board, pledged to build on his predecessor's accomplishments.
"For the time being, we are confident that we will enhance and add value to what the former chairman has done," he said. We will simply build on his accomplishments and give our employees' and veterans' welfare top priority.
